Paola taught my 7 year old daughter swimming lessons last summer and she was amazing! She had every lesson planned and she worked with Maggie to reach the required goals to get to the next swimming level. Maggie was very hesitant to dive, but by the end of her session, she was diving and feeling so confident ! Paola is a great teacher ! I would highly recommend her. I cannot believe how confident my 3 year old became in the water after just 2 weeks of lessons with Paola. She's been jumping into pools with no life jackets or floaties and is able to hold her breath underwater without holding her nose, for a good length of time, ever since the lessons! Paola's patience and knowledge of the water is comforting. Mila doesn't stop asking when she's going back to swim with Paola! Thank you so much. Looking forward to the summer! -- Jillian M.

Swimsmart Academy has been nothing short of amazing for our family! I had the pleasure of learning from Veronica herself — she is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and encouraging. She made me feel confident in the water right from the start, breaking everything down in a way that was easy to understand and fun to practice. At the same time, my 4-year-old son learned with her daughter, Gabi, and I could not be more impressed. In just a month at Swimsmart Academy, our grandson has made remarkable progress. He is 5 years old and from being initially not comfortable in the water to now being relaxed and full of self confidence. We brought our 6 year old son to Paola for swim lessons after having little success with the lessons he had done elsewhere. He had built up a fear of swimming and it was very challenging to get him to go into the water, let alone do any strokes or submersions; however, this all changed with his lessons with Paola. Paola was so good with him and gained his trust; she got him jumping in the water, doing floats, and the strokes for his level. He always had fun in his lessons and came to enjoy being in the water, our ultimate goal. Paola is a very competent swim instructor with a natural ability to connect with children.
